Out-ER celebrates five years in business.

Out-ER is delighted to celebrate five years with a peculiar compilation featuring a group of artists who contributed to create the label crew and sound. For the last years, we have been a recurring platform for the music of the founders and few label adepts, welcoming old school overseas artists as well as talented ones. A heartfelt thanks to every artist, friend, supporter and promoter for supporting and believing in our vision and love for music.

The album opens up with one of the most deluxe names in techno, Efdemin, offering his first original contribution, a short cosmic journey with celestial synth sounds and charming female voices. Long standing UK producer Aubrey, after presenting his first solo EP back in May 2016, takes over again with his typical production approach, a funky old school-inspired bumping, yet melancholic track enriched with mellow synths. The Analogue Cops effort suits with their raw musical aesthetics, implemented in all works in the last decade on other imprints as so as in the durable relation with the Italian label. Juan Atkins and Orlando Voorn, long standing friends create a dream team for a freak, funk-orientated formula smelling like the suburbs of the ancient Detroit during Nineties – both already appeared on the label in occasion of Orlando Voorn’s Black Diamond LP Remixes EP. On the same side of the record, Terrence Dixon supplies a dub, ever growing tool fulfilled of an unvaried arpeggio, clear tones and minimal excursions, not getting far from his first EP on Out-ER. Label boss Simone Gatto inaugurates the second record: a melodic trippy cut makes his celebrative presence with bright synths, racing limpid drums and percussions, plus an the imposing 4/4 kick. Civilian offers again a spaced out, elastic production, a top-groovy track full of happily reflective atmospheres and melodies – the aforementioned project from a mysterious Berlin-based artist is back after his debut release in March 2016. The darkest cut of the compilation gets manufactured by label friend Haiku, owner of Inkblots and Raw Waxes, and Berlin-based Irakli, half of I/Y and founder of STAUB event series – the artists have been hanging out for working projects and chilling moments since years, they feature on the compilation uniting both’ musical aesthetics for an obscure but electric tool with plenty of micro variations and minimal patterns, following an extended jam session in South of Italy. The conclusive track comes from Berlin-based Serbian artist Regen showcasing a darkly emotional, electronic dub break beat production for reflective instants, through a dense intersection of hats and claps united to ethereal synth lines.
