Believe it or not, a legend of techno music as Marcel Dettmann played an Orlando Voorn‘s track. In the Pete Tong’s Essential mix series on BBC Radio, Marcel chose a track from Orlando Voorn called Gain Upwards.
We’re proud that a great dj as Marcel, resident of the historical Berlin club “Berghain / Panorama Bar“, and renowned producer, appreciates Orland Voorn music. In fact, Orlando is one of the most original electronic dance music producer, and one of the first to connect Detroit and Amsterdam in the early 90’s.
At the end of June, Orlando Voorn is going to release Black Diamond, a 12 tracks album, on Out-Er, including Gain Upwards. Is Marcel Dettmann going to appreciate other tracks from the album? Our answer, confidentially, it’s yes: some tracks of the album will be part of a upcoming Fabric compilation.
